Bark For Life Review
on Nov 01 in Daily Diary by MozHi Guys, Girls and Ms. Bizzy (wink wink),
Well I went to the Furrst Annual “Bark For Life” this morning at Koka Booth Amphitheater, it was sponsored by my good friends Dogtopia. I decided to bring my film crew with me so we could record the event. It was a blast! It was raining and I got to sit in puddles and there were lots of other dogs there and I was so excited I barked a lot and I entered the Dog Owner Look A Like Contest with my big brother and WE WON! So now I am sitting at home feeling rather happy and tired!
The event itself had a really good turn out despite the weather, and there were different contests to take part in. The costume competition went to a Harry Potter lookalike service dog, the musical sit down went to a lovely looking poodle, best trick went to a dog that could twirl like a ballerina! We then all did a lap of the lake at Koka Booth, this is a one mile circuit and it was so pretty, lots of grass to pee on and lots of water stations for us athlete pups! I had a great morning and I would highly recommend doing this event next year. All the participants raised around $10,000 for the American Cancer Society! Time well spent. It would be great to see more paws for this cause next year!
